Checkatrade Charity Abseil
Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth – Sunday, 11 September 2016
Join us for our biggest fundraising event of the year when we take over the tower and abseil 170ft! It’s sure to be a really exciting and fun day.
We are inviting you to be part of this event and help make a huge difference. Spaces are limited though and only 40 people can take part. Don’t miss out!
The tower soars into the sky above Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent and is taller than the London Eye, Blackpool Tower and Big Ben! We’ll have a huge presence there on the day, with plenty of people cheering you on and we’ll be collecting donations too.
Our Checkatrade Ambassador, Craig Phillips will be taking part too! Join us and try and race Craig and beat his time down the tower.
All proceeds raised will go to the Checkatrade Foundation (registered charity number 1137878). We are raising funds to support our project the Lighthouse Foundation in Nepal and the ongoing efforts to repair and build following their devastating earthquake last year.
£50 to abseil
Then, we are asking you to raise £200 in sponsorship prior to the big day!
Once you have signed up, we will send you your fundraising pack with more information.
The Checkatrade Charity Foundation has been set up to support people in need and in particular, children. We want to make it easy to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
Together, we can make a difference. Today, we support the Lighthouse Project in Nepal who run a number of children’s homes but also many other local and national causes. If you would like to find out more, please email email@example.com.
We offer support through fundraising events, raising awareness, donations and volunteering.
